Little Pickers Welcome
Kids 12 and under get in free! Little festival-goers can try their hand at the banjo, get creative with arts & crafts, and enjoy more kid-friendly fun throughout the day.

There’s plenty to explore between sets! Shop handmade goods and one-of-a-kind finds from local craft vendors, grab some festival fare, and enter to win raffle prizes throughout the day.
The Sound That Stays is a music festival rooted in the celebration and remembrance of loved ones lost too soon, raising funds for music education in the local community.
Following Max Engle’s passing in 2023, our family witnessed an outpouring of love & support from this community. We wanted to create a space where others could feel that same connection, a space where music becomes medicine, and memories fuel us. With a lineup rooted in folk, Americana, outlaw country, bluegrass, and blues — some of Max’s favorite sounds — The Sound That Stays is about storytelling, connection, and honoring what matters.
